Due to increased demand during the holidays, Lux Express will add departures to the Tallinn-St. Petersburg and Baltic routes in December and January.
According to Rait Remmel, Head of International Business at Lux Express, on the Tallinn-St. Petersburg route the biggest interest in traveling at the end of the year was to visit relatives and acquaintances: “Last year, during holidays there wasn't such possibility as due to the pandemic the borders were practically closed. We have planned 27 additional trips to the St. Petersburg route for a two-week period.”
The most popular travel days in the St. Petersburg-Tallinn direction are December 29 and 30, and in the Tallinn-St. Petersburg direction are December 23 and January 8.
Remmel added: "The increase in interest is also significant in the direction of Riga, and we added 56 additional trips to the Tallinn-Riga route until the end of the year for customers who plan to visit friends and relatives during the holidays."
The main travel days in the Baltics are December 23 and 26, where a large part of the tickets for some departures have already been sold out.
