Due to the opening of the border crossing Vaalimaa in Finland from 14 December Lux Express reopens Helsinki – St. Petersburg route.
The first departure from St. Petersburg to Helsinki will be operated on the 13 December at 23:30 (local Moscow time), and from Helsinki to St. Petersburg – on the 13 December at 21:30 (local Helsinki time).

If you have a ticket for a previously suspended departure which will now be in operation, the following options are possible:
1) You have a valid ticket (i.e. you have not changed your ticket to another route or requested a voucher or refund) – you can make a trip according to your valid ticket.
Please note that due to changes in the timetable, the departure time of your trip may be changed. In this case, your ticket will be changed to the next closest departure time, and we will notify you about the change via the e-mail address on your ticket and send you the new ticket.
Example:
- if you have a valid ticket for a trip with departure on 14.12.2023 from St. Petersburg to Helsinki at 07:45, we will change your ticket to the departure St. Petersburg – Helsinki 06:15 and send new ticket to your e-mail.
If the departure time in the timetable remains unchanged, your trip will take place at the time indicated on your ticket.
2) You have previously changed your ticket to another Lux Express route – you can travel with the new ticket according to the changes made.
Or you can change your ticket without additional fees back to the Helsinki – St. Petersburg route. To do this, please contact our customer support by phone.
3) You have changed a ticket for a suspended departure for a voucher – you can buy a new ticket for the Helsinki – St. Petersburg route and pay for it in full or in part with the voucher. The voucher is valid for 1,5 years from the date of issue.
4) You have previously cancelled your trip and refunded the ticket – in this case, if there is a need to travel, you need to purchase a new ticket on our website.

Due to the significant number of requests, the response time has been increased. Please also note that due to the large number of requests, it may take up to 30 days to process a refund request and transfer money.
