Warsaw is one of the most popular destinations for Lithuanians, with more and more people choosing the city for weekend trips or holidays. From now on, the Polish capital will be even more accessible. Lux Express is increasing the number of departures and from 28 April will run three times a day between the Lithuanian and Polish capitals.

Rait Remmel, Head of International Business at Lux Express, says that the increase in the number of departures between Vilnius and Warsaw is in line with the growing passenger traffic.

"In March this year, we carried 49% more passengers between Vilnius and Warsaw than in the same period last year. As passenger numbers grow, we want to offer them a wider choice of departure times and encourage existing and new customers to choose comfortable buses for their journeys to Warsaw," says Rait Remmel.

From 28 April, Lux Express buses will depart from Vilnius to Warsaw at 7:10, 14:15 and 22:30, and from Warsaw to Vilnius at 12:00, 20:30 and 23:45. The bus journey from Vilnius to Warsaw takes about 8 hours. 45 min. - 8 hours. 50 min., and from Warsaw to Vilnius about 8 hours - 8 hours. 30 min. 

Lux Express passenger numbers also grew on all Baltic routes in spring. In March this year, the company carried 67% more passengers than a year ago. Lux Express operates 7 daily departures between Vilnius and Riga, two direct departures between Tallinn and Vilnius, and so far, one direct departure between Vilnius and Tallinn. In addition to direct departures, there are also many options to reach Tallinn from Vilnius with transfer in Riga. 

Free bicycle ticket service is available on all routes between the Baltic cities and Warsaw. Up to four bikes can be taken on each journey, and places can be reserved during booking on luxexpress.eu Bicycles and other luggage are protected by special covers on each Lux Express bus.

Lux Express offers a variety of discounts on international routes, including a 26% discount for young people under the age of twenty-six, an 80% discount for children under the age of seven, a 40% discount for children under the age of sixteen, and a 10% discount for passengers over the age of sixty.
