From Valga to Tartu and Narva with Lux Express

Starting from January 27, Lux Express offers convenient and regular connections from Valga to Tartu and Narva, and vice versa. Passengers can now use international bus routes that also include domestic stops within Estonia.

Buses from Tartu Bus Station to Valga depart daily at 08:15 and 11:10, while buses from Valga to Tartu depart at 15:30 and 21:20. From Narva to Valga, there is a bus departing at 08:00, and from Valga to Narva, the bus departs at 15:30.

“Our international bus routes to Riga will now connect the people of Valga with Tartu and Narva, with tickets available for domestic stops in Estonia starting January 27,” explained Lux Express board member Ingmar Roos. “Ticket sales for international routes are legally regulated in a way that selling tickets within one country requires special permission from that country.” Roos expressed his satisfaction that the Riga-Tartu route can now serve passengers between Estonian stops, though domestic ticket sales between Latvian stops, such as Valmiera and Riga, remain prohibited.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Lux Express website at luxexpress.eu, the Lux Express mobile app, the Tpilet.ee platform, Tartu Bus Station, or directly from the driver if seats are available. All trips are subject to Lux Express international route discounts. The route is served by a Scania Irizar bus equipped with media screens at each seat, along with several other amenities (WC, air conditioning, spacious seating, WiFi, and power outlets for device charging), ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
