Lux Express adds Tallinn’s D-Terminal as a stop on its
Pärnu and Riga routes
Starting from July 14, Lux Express will add a stop at Tallinn's D-terminal at the Port of Tallinn, offering a convenient connection to Pärnu and Riga.
Lux Express buses depart daily from the D-terminal towards Pärnu at 13:30 and 19:00. Buses to Riga depart from the D-terminal every day at 13:30 and 16:30.
From the Pärnu Bus Station, buses heading to the D-terminal will depart daily at 10:40 and 16:15. These buses will first stop at the Tallinn Bus Station before continuing to the D-terminal, making it easy for passengers to board their ships.
The bus stop at the D-terminal of the Port of Tallinn is located directly in front of the terminal on the tourist bus platform. It is easily accessible via the pedestrian bridge from the nearby A-terminal, where Viking Line and Eckerö Line ships arrive. This creates even better connections to Helsinki and other Finnish cities.

“There is a lot of travel between Pärnu and Helsinki by both locals and Finns,” said Lux Express board member Ingmar Roos. “For example, last summer, nearly a third of passengers on the most popular departures between Tallinn and Pärnu were Finnish. Until now, they had to travel between the Tallinn Bus Station and the port either by taxi or public transport, which meant extra cost in both time and money. Starting from July 14, that changes – our buses will go directly to the D-terminal, making it much more convenient to catch a ferry.”
According to Roos, the new bus times fit perfectly with Tallink’s Helsinki ferry schedule: passengers arriving from Helsinki can continue to Pärnu with the 10:30 or 16:30 ferries. For those traveling from Pärnu to Helsinki, Lux Express buses will bring them to the terminal in time to board Tallink ferries departing at 13:30 and 19:30.
