The Lux Express app is considered among the best by Estonians

According to Emor’s customer friendliness survey, Smart-ID has been rated the most customer-friendly app by Estonian residents for the second year in a row. The top three also included the investment app Lightyear and the Lux Express app.

Among mobile applications of companies operating in Estonia, they were followed by Elektrihind, Bolt, Swedbank Estonia, Pargi.ee, Partnerkaart (Selver), Elron and Tpilet.

“Mobile applications have become a natural part of everyday life for people in Estonia, and users primarily expect simple and clear design as well as reliability,” said Katariina Mäll, research expert at Emor. “Users have high expectations for apps, with younger users being particularly critical. In their feedback, younger respondents highlighted that apps must function smoothly and should not crash or become slow — some respondents shared experiences where this had occurred,” Mäll added.

The study included 113 mobile applications of companies operating in Estonia. The survey was conducted online by Emor from 12–19 February 2026, with 1,150 Estonian residents aged 16 and over participating.
