From January 1, Lux Express will start serving a new bus route connecting Karksi-Nuia and Pärnu. The long-distance bus line operates on the order of Viljandimaa Public Transport Center.

The bus departs daily at 6:20 a.m., covering the route Karksi-Nuia - Abja-Paluoja - Mõisaküla - Kilingi-Nõmme - Pärnu. Arriving in Pärnu, the bus continues to Tallinn with a departure time of 8:15. In the afternoon, the bus leaves Tallinn at 17:30 and continues on the route Pärnu - Kilingi-Nõmme - Mõisaküla - Abja-Paluoja - Karksi-Nuia at 19:30 from Pärnu bus station.

Ticket pricing and discounts are determined by Viljandimaa Public Transport Center. Therefore, it is not possible to use the usual Lux Express discounts for the elderly and young people, as well as the Ühiskaart, on this line. However, the right to free travel applies to preschool children and disabled passengers in accordance with the Public Transport Act.

You can conveniently buy tickets in advance on the websites luxexpress.eu and Tpilet.ee, as well as at the Pärnu bus station. It is possible to buy tickets on the bus both in cash and with a bank card. The route served by Lux Express uses a Scania Irizar bus with media screens on all seats and several other amenities (toilet, air conditioning, wide seat spacing, Wi-Fi, electrical outlets for charging devices) that ensure a pleasant travel experience.
