Changes in the application of Goda ģimene benefits

We inform you that, starting from 13.07.2026, Goda ģimene benefits will be applied in accordance with the following procedure. According to Cabinet of Ministers regulations, fare discounts are applied to the state-defined tariff. If the ticket price set by Lux Express on a specific route exceeds the state-defined tariff, the passenger is required to pay the difference between the state tariff and the carrier’s ticket price.

We would like to emphasize that this arrangement is not an independent decision by Lux Express, but rather a state-defined mechanism for the application and compensation of discounts. Previously, on certain routes, we did not apply this difference in order to offer more favorable conditions for passengers; however, at present, discounts are applied in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework.

We recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as in most cases, tickets bought earlier do not exceed the state-defined tariff and no additional payment is required. However, when purchasing a ticket shortly before departure, when prices may be higher, it may be necessary to cover the fare difference.
