During the Midsummer week alone, Lux Express is adding 42 extra trips to its schedule, offering passengers an additional 2,352 seats to meet the increased demand. The extra trips will mainly run on the Tallinn-Pärnu and Tallinn-Tartu routes. It is important to note that in May and June, Lux Express added nearly 90 trips on the Tallinn-Tartu route due to railway maintenance disruptions and increased passenger flow, providing over 4,000 seats.

Lux Express board member Ingmar Roos stated that Lux Express always aims to offer its passengers the best possible service: “We hope that the additional trips will help alleviate demand and allow everyone to reach their destination comfortably and safely.” Roos clarified that although Lux Express added over 2,300 seats for the days before and after the holidays, the demand during Midsummer is very high, and many trips are already sold out. Roos emphasized that anyone planning to attend a major event in the summer should purchase bus tickets well in advance: “This way, a seat is guaranteed, and the bus company can plan additional trips. And if plans change, tickets can be exchanged or refunded.”

If anyone has already missed out on the desired bus tickets for Midsummer travel, it's worth keeping an eye on the luxexpress.eu website, as there are always returns for each trip, and returned seats are automatically put back on sale.

Starting from June 15, Lux Express also opened the summer route between Tartu and Kuressaare and added additional departures to the Tallinn-Kuressaare route for the summer. In addition to the Kuressaare routes, summer extra departures on the Tallinn-Haapsalu route also started on June 15.
