Starting from April 13, the Haapsalu-Tallinn route schedule will change

Starting from April 13, the schedules of two trips between Haapsalu and Tallinn will change. Lux Express’s earliest morning departure from Haapsalu will move from 9:00 to 7:45 and will arrive at Tallinn Bus Station at 9:25. From Tallinn to Haapsalu, the first departure will shift from 9:00 to 9:30, arriving at its destination at 11:10.

“Until now, Lux Express buses departed from Haapsalu in the mornings at 9:00 and 10:05, reaching Tallinn before noon, which did not suit residents of Lääne County who need to be in the capital in the morning,” said Ingmar Roos, CEO of the Lux Express Group. “The addition of an earlier departure now makes it possible to arrive in Tallinn by 9:30. Against the backdrop of current high fuel prices, it is important for us to offer departures at regular intervals throughout the day, allowing passengers to travel conveniently back and forth and leave their cars at home. Despite high fuel prices, we have not changed ticket prices on the Haapsalu–Tallinn route and are currently maintaining a wait-and-see approach,” Roos added.

Starting from April 13, buses from Haapsalu to Tallinn will depart at 7:45, 10:05, 12:45, 16:15, and 17:40 (Fri, Sun). From Tallinn to Haapsalu, buses will depart at 9:30, 13:30, 15:15 (Fri, Sun), 16:45, and 18:30.

Lux Express operates the route with comfortable 56-seat Scania Irizar buses. All buses are equipped with WiFi and personal media screens. They also include a toilet, air conditioning, and power outlets for charging devices. Ticket sales use dynamic pricing, meaning earlier bookings come with lower prices. Seniors aged 60 and over and children up to 16 years old receive up to a 40% discount, while young people up to 26 years old receive up to a 26% discount.

Tickets can be purchased online at luxexpress.eu or via tpilet.ee, as well as at the Tallinn Bus Station, and if necessary, directly from the bus driver.
