From January 25th, medical face masks or respirators are mandatory in Latvia

<h4>From 25 January on public transport or other public place in Latvia, individuals will have to use a medical face mask or unvalved respirator (with a level of safety FFP2 - FFP3 or KN95).</h4><p>Medical face masks or respirators should also be used by vaccinated or recovered individuals. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 will be able to use a non-medical (fabric) mask.</p><p>If a person does not wear a medical face mask or respirator, the Latvian authorities may penalize € 10 to € 2,000.</p><p>All Lux Express coaches have been equipped with medical face masks that can be requested from the coach driver as per need.</p><p><a href="https://www.mk.gov.lv/en/article/medical-face-masks-or-respirators-will-be-required-public-places-changes-isolation-and-home-quarantine-period">Additional information.</a></p>
