Starting from January 1, Lux Express buses will stop at a new location in Kohtla-Järve
From the new year, Lux Express buses to Tallinn and Narva will no longer stop at the bus station at Vironia center. Instead, buses will stop at Virumaa kolledž and Kunstide kool / Apteek.
According to Ingmar Roos, the business manager of Lux Express Estonia, the change was based on the need to bring the stop of long-distance intercity bus lines closer to the center of Kohtla-Järve and to avoid the time cost for passengers that came from stopping at the Kohtla-Järve bus station outside the bus route. Roos added "Lux Express sees that in the future the Virumaa Kolledž stop could be developed into a station with a waiting area, which would provide the possibility to transfer between city lines, county lines and long-distance bus lines." Lux Express has made such a proposal to the Kohtla-Järve City Government and Ida-Virumaa Public Transport Center.
In the direction of Tallinn, Lux Express has up to seven departures a day from Kohtla-Järve (at the Virumaa kolledž bus stop).
More information on all departure times can be found on the Lux Express website at luxexpress.eu.
