Updated summer schedule: 13 daily trips from Riga- Tallinn

Starting June 1, Lux Express will offer 13 daily trips from Riga to Tallinn and 8 trips from Riga to Vilnius, providing travellers with convenient and frequent travel options throughout the summer season.

The summer schedule includes trips from Riga to Tallinn at 02:35, 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, and 19:30, allowing passengers to choose the most suitable time for their journey. These buses also stop in Pärnu, a popular Estonian summer resort known for its beach, numerous spa centres, and various summer events.

For those heading to the historic city of Vilnius, Lux Express offers trips from Riga at 02:55, 07:00, 09:30, 10:40, 12:00, 14:30, 16:30, and 17:20, providing the opportunity to travel throughout the day.

Aldis Ķibens, Baltic Business Development Director at Lux Express, stated: “This summer, the company will offer travellers even greater freedom in planning their trips, whether for work or leisure. Each of our summer destinations offers a multitude of exciting entertainment options, and we want our passengers to take advantage of them at a relaxed pace. With additional trips, our passengers will not only enjoy comfort in our buses but also experience even more unforgettable moments in one of the beautiful Baltic capitals!”

Moreover, Lux Express provides three direct trips daily from Riga to Warsaw at 02:55, 17:20, and 21:30. The Riga-Warsaw route offers excellent connections for further travel to many European destinations, including over 120 cities from Warsaw airport. Warsaw itself is a significant tourist destination and a major centre for concerts and events; for instance, last summer, Beyoncé’s concert attracted many visitors from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania using Lux Express buses.

To Tartu, the 2024 European Capital of Culture, Lux Express offers three trips daily at 07:30, 15:45, and 18:45, allowing travellers to visit cultural events either on a day trip or a longer stay to enjoy multiple activities.

Starting June 15, passengers can also visit Saaremaa, Estonia's largest island, with a quick transfer in Pärnu, a service that has been popular among hundreds of Latvian passengers in previous years.

When creating summer schedules, Lux Express has not forgotten that passengers often wish to travel with their bicycles. Each bus can accommodate four bicycles, and a bicycle ticket is still free for passengers, but it must be reserved along with a regular ticket on the Lux Express website at luxexpress.eu. Additionally, each bus is equipped with bike covers to protect both bicycles and other luggage.

All international routes are serviced by modern "Scania Irizar" buses. Some trips to Tallinn and Vilnius are serviced by "Lux Lounge" buses, which, in addition to standard seats, offer "Relax" seats for maximum comfort. All buses feature free Wi-Fi and personal multimedia screens, and complimentary hot coffee drinks are available during the trip. The bus is also equipped with a toilet, air conditioning, and power outlets for charging devices.
