Lux Express is temporarily closing coffee machines on some routes

The onset of winter temperatures means that coffee machines on certain routes have been temporarily switched off as of 27 November. The service will be restored in early spring, once weather conditions allow it.

Cold temperatures affect both the operation of coffee machines and the onboard plumbing systems. When buses are parked, the pipes may freeze in sub-zero conditions, preventing the equipment from being used safely. For the same reason, running water is currently unavailable in the toilets. Hand sanitiser has been placed next to the sink for passenger use.

Coffee machines remain available on international routes and on Lux Express Superior buses operating on the Tallinn–Tartu line.

Lux Express apologises for the inconvenience and thanks passengers for their understanding.
