Lux Express celebrates 30 years in Latvia with Retro Bus Festival
As part of its 30th anniversary in Latvia, Lux Express hosted a festive Retro Bus Festival On Friday, August 15, at the Daile Theatre in Riga, and on August 16 in Liepāja, at 1/4 Zivju Street, which brought together around a thousand guests to celebrate history, innovation, and shared experiences.
Visitors had the unique opportunity to enjoy nostalgic rides on classic Setra S-6 and S-80 buses from the Lux Express Timeless collection, take part in special prize draws, and enjoy the musical atmosphere of the 70s–90s. At the same time, the company showcased the very best of modern coach travel with the cutting-edge Irizar i6S Efficient – allowing guests to experience both the heritage and the future of bus travel in one place.

The celebrations began with speeches from Lux Express board member Aldis Ķibēns and company founder and owner Hugo Osula, who highlighted the values that have sustained the company for three decades and the opportunities it has provided to all travelers across Latvia and the Baltics.

With this event, Lux Express not only reflected on its 30-year journey but also reaffirmed its commitment to continue offering comfortable, modern, and sustainable travel solutions.
