Vilnius, 15th October, 2009
From the 1st of October, 2009 Lux Express joined the loyalty program BalticMiles which itself is owned and operated by airBaltic. From now all permanent Lux Express passengers will receive a certain amount of miles for their journeys by bus. Those received miles may be used to buy different services.
Once enough miles are collected, they can be redeemed for free flights from among 60 airBaltic destinations, Lux Express journeys to the Baltic countries and Russia or other exciting rewards including relaxing spa treatments, overnight hotel accommodation, a delicious dinner and many more.
„I think that the main benefit for the customers is the fact, that they can collect the points accross the different travel services in Baltic region. It means that the programme generates more value for the customers and more opportunities to get some tangible added value“, - points Hannes Saarpuu, the director of Lux Express Group.
When sign in to BalticMiles program, the client is given a membership card with an individual code that must be presented when buying or reserving online bus, airplane tickets, hotel room, etc. in order to count the points. What’s more, the higher the class you fly or the farther you go, the more miles you earn.
The registration to the loyalty program BalticMiles is completely for free and this can be done in all Lux Express ticket offices or through airBaltic website. Plus, there is no minimum age limit.
