Is it possible to travel with a baby car seat?

All seats on Lux Express buses are equipped with seat belts suitable for passengers of all age groups.

Lux Express does not provide child car seats or baby carriers. Passengers may bring their own child car seat, but when traveling with small children on Lux Express buses, it is not required.

Placing a car seat/baby carrier on the bus

When traveling on the Tallinn–Tartu route with double-decker Lux Express Superior buses, it is possible to bring a car seat/baby carrier with ISOFIX attachment. In Superior buses there are 4 seats equipped with ISOFIX. These seats are located on the first floor, behind the tables by the windows, with seat numbers 57, 59, 61, and 63.

In addition, the following seats on this bus have three-point seat belts:
1–3, 57–63, 20, 21, 26, 27.

When traveling on any other route, both domestic and international, and you wish to bring a child car seat/baby carrier that requires a three-point seat belt according to the manufacturer’s instructions, please book seats behind the second exit (29–30 or 31–32, depending on the bus).

Please note that a separate ticket with a seat is required for the child. Lux Express offers special discounts for children up to 7 years old (inclusive) and children up to 16 years old (inclusive). All available discounts are shown when purchasing the ticket.

If you are traveling with a stroller, please fold it before the trip to ensure it fits in the luggage compartment. When traveling on the Tallinn–Tartu route with a double-decker Lux Express Superior bus, please note that the driver will gladly assist you with placing the stroller in the luggage compartment, but may not be able to do it alone — lifting and removing the stroller is done together with the passenger.
