Forgotten Items on Lux Express Buses

Did you forget something on Lux Express?

1. What does Lux Express do with items forgotten on the bus?

Lux Express does not take responsibility for passengers’ personal belongings or hand luggage left on board. The carrier cannot guarantee the return of forgotten items. 

 2. What should you do if you realise you have forgotten something on the bus?

First, fill in the form which is available on the Lux Express website under:
Info → Contacts → “Lost your belongings?

3. Where are small found items sent?

Small, easily identifiable items (such as phones, books, gloves, etc.) are forwarded as follows:

  • For EU and EE domestic trips → to T grupp OÜ Cargobus representative office
  • For Latvian domestic lines and non‑EU trips → to Lux Express customer service offices

4. How long are found items kept?

Found items are stored for up to 30 days either at Lux Express customer service offices or at T grupp OÜ Cargobus representative office. 

5. Is there a handling fee for retrieving a forgotten item?

Yes. Cargobus applies a handling fee for this service according to its price list. 

6. What happens to luggage whose contents cannot be identified?

Any luggage or item whose contents cannot be identified without opening it is handed over to the coach station security or police in the destination city. 

7. Are food items kept for return?

No. Food items are not stored and will not be returned.
