Musical Instruments and Fragile Items on the Bus
Carrying Musical Instruments and Fragile Items in the Passenger Cabin
Musical instruments and fragile items are allowed in the bus cabin if a separate seat is purchased for them. There is no discount for the extra seat. The ticket price is the same as for a passenger.
You may bring a musical instrument into the cabin if it is packed in a hard case, does not exceed 125 cm in total dimensions (width + length + height, e.g., a typical violin case), and does not exceed the maximum allowed weight for carry-on luggage. Please place your instrument on the floor in front of the seat next to you (under the window).
• Item placed on the floor: 125 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (height x width x depth)
• Item secured to the seat: 105 cm x 45 cm x 40 cm (height x width x depth)
Any item placed on a seat must be secured with a seatbelt.
Transporting Musical Instruments in the Luggage Compartment
Musical instruments can be transported in the bus luggage compartment if they are properly packed by the customer and do not exceed the maximum dimensions allowed for checked luggage. The customer is responsible for the proper packaging of the instrument placed in the luggage compartment.
