We are excited to introduce the brand-new double-decker Lux Express Superior buses that take comfortable and enjoyable travel to a whole new level. These modern buses offer innovative comfort solutions and a premium travel experience for every passenger.
The new double-decker buses will depart every hour from Tallinn to Tartu and from Tartu to Tallinn – making your daily journeys even more comfortable, smooth, and enjoyable.
Thanks to this upgrade, 500 additional seats will be added each day, helping to meet the growing demand between the two cities. More seats mean less worry about ticket availability and even more flexibility to travel exactly when it suits you.
Lux Express Superior Standard seat
Standard seats are located on the lower deck (seats 44–63) and at the rear of the upper deck (seats 20–43).
All seats are equipped with adjustable headrests, which can be raised or lowered and provide lateral support for resting your head comfortably.
Standard Class passengers seeking extra legroom can choose the front left-side seats on the upper deck – seats 20 and 21.
During your journey, you can adjust your seat as needed – recline the backrest or shift the seat slightly toward the aisle to create more space between you and your neighbor. Take a nap, read a book, watch a movie, or simply enjoy the passing scenery.
Every seat features a 230V power outlet and USB/USB-C charging ports.
Each seat also has a personal media screen, offering a relaxing and entertaining environment throughout the journey. You can connect your headphones via Bluetooth or a standard audio cable. If you don’t have headphones with you, you can purchase a pair from the driver for 1€.
Lux Express Superior Relax seat
Relax Class seats are located at the front of the upper deck – seats 1–19. They follow a 1+2 seating layout, offering a more spacious and premium travel experience.
The seats are exceptionally wide, with generous legroom and wide armrests to ensure maximum comfort throughout the journey. Each seat features an adjustable headrest that can be raised and provides side support for added comfort.
For those who prefer to travel solo, single seats are available on the left side of the bus. Passengers traveling together can enjoy the double seats on the right side of the Relax section.
The first three seats (1, 2, and 3) offer not only extra comfort but also a panoramic view, making them a popular choice among passengers.

Lux Express Superior Group seat
The Group seat is a comfortable four-seat arrangement with a table – an ideal choice for both business travelers and spending quality time with friends.
It’s an ideal choice for those who want to work on a laptop, hold meetings, or simply enjoy quality time together during the journey.
Media screens are integrated into the table and can be accessed with a firm press.
Each seat comes with a 230V power outlet and USB/USB-C charging ports.
All group seats are equipped with three-point seat belts and ISOFIX attachments for child seats.
The spacious layout provides a comfortable and functional environment where work and relaxation go hand in hand.

The spacious panoramic roof on the upper deck makes the bus feel even more open and filled with natural light. Tinted glass keeps out excessive sunlight and heat, ensuring a truly comfortable and enjoyable ride.
Freshly brewed coffee
Enjoy a quality coffee break on the go – on our Superior buses, a fully automatic coffee machine awaits you on the lower deck, offering free freshly brewed coffee made from ground beans, as well as hot chocolate.
5G internet and 230V
All Lux Express Superior buses offer free 5G internet. Each seat is equipped with a 230V power outlet and USB/USB-C charging ports.

Which stops can I get on and off the bus?
- Lux Express Superior offers passengers a convenient option to board the bus in Tartu not only at the Tartu Bus Station, but also at the Tartu Näitused stop. When arriving in Tartu, passengers can also get off at the Hurda and Raeplats stops.
- In Tallinn, you can board and exit the bus not only at the Tallinn Bus Station, but also at the Tallinn Airport and Mõigu stops.
- Additionally, on some trips, Lux Express Superior also stops at Puhu rist. Check the detailed schedule by entering your departure and destination points in the journey search.
Note: Always purchase your ticket for the exact stop where you plan to board and exit the bus.
Tips for traveling with Lux Express Superior
Purchase your ticket in advance via the Lux Express website at luxexpress.eu or through the mobile app (available in the App Store and Google Play).
If you’ve purchased a discounted ticket, please present the required documents when boarding the bus.
Assist the driver with loading your luggage if needed. At intermediate stops, please retrieve your luggage from the compartment yourself.
If traveling with a child, pet, or bicycle, please review the relevant travel guidelines in advance.
For small hand luggage, place it under your seat or in front of your feet to avoid blocking the aisle or disturbing other passengers.
For your safety and the safety of others, keep your seatbelt fastened throughout the journey.
Avoid moving on the stairs while the bus is in motion – it can be dangerous.
Always hold onto the handrails when moving inside the bus.
When taking coffee or other hot drinks, always use a lid to prevent spills.
If you experience any issues during your trip, let the driver know – they’ll help you find a solution.
Do not stand up until the bus has come to a complete stop at your destination.
If your plans change, you can easily modify or cancel your ticket in the self-service portal.
